About the project
BEE was contracted to provide Decathlon Energy Modeling services for 3 of their new stores located in Italy, while also providing a full MEP consultancy towards achieving LEED NC Certification services for their China retail location in Huaqiao. Decathlon has incorporated a number of innovative energy systems into their buildings to improve their overall energy efficiency, including the installation of a series of photovoltaic and solar-thermal array systems, which contribute a considerable portion of energy towards the structures’ energy needs. Through our analysis, we identified a series of strategies that resulted in increasing the green buildings’ overall energy efficiency by an average of 25% against the ASHRAE baseline towards realizing LEED NC Certification.
